Schwab has been spending time at the label’s Paris headquarters,WWD reports, although nothing has been confirmed. The brand’s collections are currently designed by an in-house collective, with no named creative director, after its eponymous founder left in 2009.
A collaboration would not be too much of a surprise – Schwab’s fluid shapes would lend themselves well to Margiela’s signature androgynous aesthetic. Renzo Rosso, who owns Margiela, and Margiela CEO Giovanni Pungetti both attended Schwab’s latest catwalk show in London.
